Bill received his MS in Geography and Cartographic Sciences from George Mason University.  He served as GIS Program Manager for the N.VA Planning District Commission before becoming County Demographer for PW County.  He moved on to Senior Research Manager for the PW County Department of Economic Development.
In 1997 he was appointed to his current position.

Bill is a member of the American Association of Geographers and the National Association for Business Economics and has served on the boards of PW County Habitat for Humanity, the PW Symphony Orchestra and Unity in the Community. Bill was born and raised in Rockville MD and currently resides in Woodstock Virginia with his wife, Laurel.
