Amy will share her life lessons and how through running she has helped to support Thoughtful House Center for Children, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization combining the talents of leading clinicians, researchers, and educators working with autism in one dedicated facility for children affected by childhood battling autism.

Final Salute Dinner and a Movement PSA Fundraiser. March 4th 8:30 pm

There are currently over 13,000 homeless female Veterans in the United States. For the sacrifices they and their families have made, this is unacceptable. To raise awareness, Final Salute is seeking sponsors and attendees for the benefit to raise funds to produce a Public Service Announcement (PSA). The cost to produce a PSA for nationwide distribution is approximately $150,000.

4th Annual Rainbow Center Golf Classic - Monday, May 16, 2011

Rainbow Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which provides therapeutic equestrian activities for individuals with physical and mental challenges. Most of Rainbow Center’s clients are children. Come out swinging to Dominion Valley Country Club in support of their efforts. ActionCOACH Virginia will host their 1st Annual Kids' Charity Golf Classic at Bull Run Golf Club. The first annual kids' charity golf classic is being held to benefit Alternative House, Northern Virginia Family Service and CASA of Greater Prince William County. Our goal is to change children's lives by creating a better environment and providing them the support they need to become the people they want to be and achieve the goals they want to achieve.

Seems a little cold now. But we are working diligently to set up afternoon golf for this Spring here in Haymarket. The fees are VERY LOW. Around $30. In addition we are forming a friendly competition with area groups.
