Company Background
When and why did you decide to start your own company?
Both Lisa & I had worked together for six years setting up clinics for an orthopaedic practice. Both of us have young children & both were tired of the commute. Having successfully opened two previous clinics for others we figured we could to it for ourselves. We went out on a limb & opened our doors in July 2006. Three and a half years later business is thriving and we’re looking for a second location.
How does your business serve the Haymarket-Gainesville community?
We provide outpatient physical therapy services to the residents Western Prince William County. We specialize in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In short, we help you restore and improve motion to achieve long-term quality of life. We can provide an alternative to surgery or help people recover quicker from surgery. We help people better manage or eliminate pain.
Business Experience
Please share one of the greatest moments you’ve experienced in your business.
It’s difficult to pick just one, but I can say that for the first time in my life, I love my job. While working for yourself comes with numerous challenges, it also provides tremendous freedom. I’m blessed in that I get to relive this moment every day.

I wish I would have gone into business for myself sooner.

How have you been involved with HGBA?
I currently serve on the Membership Committee and my girls rode on the HGBA float in the Haymarket Day Parade.
In addition to networking, what are the primary benefits of being an HGBA member?
It provides a sense of legitimacy as a business in our community, it provides opportunities to give back to the community and it’s just plain FUN.
