 Why start your own company?
I decided to start my own company because I wanted to be in control of my success.
How does your business serve the Haymarket-Gainesville community?
My business serves the Haymarket community by several sports sponsorships, including
affiliations with Battlefield High School and the local little league with Grizzly football.
We also serve the community at the Barn program and at Serve.
Business Experience
Have you had an experience in business that you wish you could redo differently?
I think business is all about having good people around you, and in the past I've not always had the best staff hiring processes. If you want to get to the Super Bowl, you have to have the best players, and I've always tried to have the best players.
What are the top 3 business tips & tricks or lessons learned you can offer other business
owners & professionals?
1. Outsource things that you don't know how to do - accounting, legal, HR, insurance. Any of the things you're not expert at, find somebody else to do them and concentrate on what you do best. It may cost you more money up front, but it will make you happier and sleep better at night.
2. Surround yourself with people that are smarter than you and will listen to you.
3. Always be looking for new business and never settle with what you have.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Iit would be somewhere remote, either an island in the Caribbean or in Alaska
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I'd like to be able to fly. I could go anywhere as fast as I can and I could always cruise above the Earth and see everything down below, like Superman.
